Austevoll Seafood AS is one of Norway's leading seafood processing companies that specializes in herring, mackerel and salmon. About 10 years ago, we used epoxy coatings on our floors, and we were constantly having problems with flaking and chipping especially in our high traffic and transportation areas. In 2004, we consulted with our local AcryliCon representative after receiving very good feedback from our own clients about AcryliCon. The AcryliCon representative toured our facility and looked at the constant wear and tear on our floors. We decided to install the AcryliCon ______ system in our freezing tunnels, filleting department, packaging room and transportation areas. Over the last seven years, we have applied over 2000 square meters (21,500 sq. ft.) in our facilities and we are very satisfied with the floor's performance. Although using AcryliCon was not the cheapest option available to us, in the long term, it has saved us much time and money.
