Parmalat Canada, Victoriaville, Qc

Take out the competition......

The Lactancia Factory in Victorville (Canada) has been part of Groupe Parmalat for over 10 years. The surface area of this factory is more than 150,000 sq.ft. In the older areas of the factory, the floors are ceramic, while all renovations and expansions were carried out in epoxy.

There have been mitigating results with the ceramic floors because the grout is very difficult to keep cleen. As for epoxy, the quality of the floors have deteriorated in great proportions after only two years of installation. As a result, the floor is lifting and has become increasingly difficult to clean.

At first, we had approached this client several times to no avail. In April of 2006, we were successful in carrying out a presentation on Acrylicon to the primary contacts responsible for the factory and any construcion therein. We were able to demonstrate all technical aspect of our product.

Having proved to this customer that Acrylicon is different from other flooring resins on the market, we proceeded to visit several clients who had installed Acrylicon many years earlier. The floors we showed them had been exposed to intense use including water, chemical attack and heavy foot traffic.

Testimonials from our existing clients was enough to convince Parmalat Canada to install Acrylicon Decor for a new Oil Reception Room within this factory. We successfully installed more than 3500 sq.ft.

Since installation of the new Acrylicon floor, there has been no sign of wear and tear, nor delamination. The floor continues to be as easy to clean as it was when new.

Lactancia (Victoriaville) of Groupe Parmalat is now a preferred customer and reference for Acrylicon Canada.
