Case studies

Verger Leahy, Franklin Center, Qc

This client has two primary needs in its production site. The saftey of its employees and the ease of maintenance to its floors. We laid 2100 sq.ft. in their Apple Juice production plant.

The Acrylicon Floor was laid partly over concrete, with the remainder over epoxy. Within a 6 month period, all of the existing floor surface had been destroyed by Malic Acid from the apple juice. We specified a slip resistant system that did not compromise the cleanability of the floor. The client was very satisfied with the surface, and can easily clean the floor to look like new.

Completed: Nov 2005

We then had a request from the customer for a five day project for 2800 sq.ft.
After several discussions with our customer, he decided it would be preferable and more cost effective to remove all equipment and lay the floor in one installation. This would then allow them to move machinery around without leaving exposed substrate. Two out of the five days were allocated to removing and replacing the equipment.

Completed: July 2006
