Nordlaks - Salmon Production

The new extension of the Production facilities of Nordlaks has now been finalized.
The owner and group president, Mr. Inge Berg are focusing on export of frozen Salmon to the Asian market and the extension makes the company well equipped to manage an increase in the capacity of production and export in the future.

In total AcryliCon have installed more than 5.000 sq. meter of Acrylicon Décor System in the different production sites of Nordlaks. For the new extension we have installed 1.600 sq.m. in their production area, including chillers and freezing facilities.
Mr. Berg has used Acrylicon Floorings in many of his production facilities over the years, and choose to have a rather special version for his new extension. We installed Acrylicon Décor System in 8 mm thickness, done in two operations, with 300 gram fibre enforcement between the layers.
The thickness and the rather specialized installation was done because we regard the floor as a very important part of the production equipment and it too have to endure the vast wear and impact stress in our production area. Our production line is running every day, year by year and a floor with small or no maintenance is what we demanded. Based on the earlier experience we have had with Acrylicon, the choice of flooring for our new extension had to be Acrylicon, says Mr. Inge Berg.
