St. Olav Hospital Trondheim

It is very easy to forget about the floors, as they present no problem at all.

«An AcryliCon floor is not cheap, however, compared to some of the alternatives,
based on the quality, it is money well spent.
The floor is not a cause for concern; you do not have to think of maintenance for several years.
We have a total of 5.400 sq.metres of AcryliCon floor at the Regional Hospital in the technical centre, workshops, halls and culverts and 250 sq.metres in the main kitchen laid during the period1977 to 1998. The Acrylicon floor types were Decor, Variant and Industry.
Our experience is that the AcryliCon floor can take very heavy traffic loads from trucks loaded with pallets. An AcryliCon floor is easy to clean, washing with hot water and is skid resistant (important in a kitchen, where fat spillages occur on the floor).
The smell of the AcryliCon floor during application is very strong and this was a major concern in the beginning. However we learnt that the problem is easily solved with correct ventilation.
